The Creaform HandySCAN 3D MAX Series is specifically designed to measure large and complex parts efficiently. Its large scanning area, fast measurement rate and integrated photogrammetry make it ideal for components that are difficult to move or inspect using traditional measuring equipment. The scanner captures accurate, high-density surface data directly in production facilities, workshops and field environments. It can measure different materials and surface finishes with minimal preparation while producing an immediately usable 3D mesh.
Accurate and Portable Industrial Measurement
The HandySCAN 3D MAX Series provides metrology-grade measurements with an accuracy of up to 0.075 mm. Its integrated display shows the developing 3D model and provides real-time guidance, allowing operators to monitor scan coverage without continuously looking at a separate computer. When combined with the Mobility Kit, the system provides wireless operation for greater freedom when scanning oversized parts and assemblies.
Quality Inspection and Reverse Engineering
ALTO uses the Creaform HandySCAN 3D MAX Series for full-surface dimensional inspection, CAD comparison and reverse engineering of large industrial components. Complete surface acquisition helps reveal deformation, wear and geometric deviations that may not be identified through individual point measurements.
