AEROSPACE METROLOGY

Aerospace

Precision metrology inspection of an aerospace component using advanced 3D scanning and laser tracking technology.
Intro
Civil and military aviation demand precise dimensional inspection control. This inspection ensures that assembly jigs, components, and assembly parts meet the manufacturer’s specifications. Correlating measurements between the produced part and the designed one is crucial for maintaining tolerance and ensuring the safety of flying.

SuPAR AR Visual Inspection

SuPAR AR visual inspection connects digital CAD data with physical components using augmented reality. The application overlays design geometry directly onto the real part, helping operators identify discrepancies, verify component positioning and follow assembly instructions.

Users can capture photographs, add comments and document quality issues directly during inspection. The collected information can be shared through PDF, Excel and 3D reports, improving traceability and communication between production, quality and engineering teams.

SuPAR supports visual quality control, assembly guidance, maintenance and collaborative inspection activities. ALTO provides application assessment, configuration, implementation and training across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Africa.

Digital Fixture

Digital fixtures project CAD geometry, reference points and work instructions directly onto components or production surfaces. Operators receive clear visual guidance for assembly, positioning, welding, drilling and composite layup without relying on physical jigs or templates.

The projected information can be updated for design changes and different product variants, making digital fixtures suitable for prototypes, low-volume manufacturing and flexible production. ALTO provides application assessment, system configuration, installation, integration and training across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Africa.
